The Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Ambassador Innocent Chiedoziem Uruakpa has assured the people of Ama-ano Nsulu Autonomous Community that his administration will transmit their request and all the necessary documents to the appropriate authorities and the state government to facilitate the recognition and presentation of staff of office to their Eze-elect, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba, Eze Udo 11 by the state government.

Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa gave the assurance after the presentation of the Eze-elect to him by the Chairman of Ama-ano Nsulu People’s Assembly, Chief Barr. Cyprian Ogwumike and elders of the community at the Council Chambers on January 20, 2026.
The Isiala Ngwa North Council boss congratulated the Eze-elect, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba (Nwachinyreugo) on his election and commended the people of Ama-ano Nsulu on the peaceful and transparent manner they elected their traditional ruler.

Earlier in their address, the Chairman of Ama-ano People’s Assembly, Chief Barr. Cyprian Ogwumike stated that the community complied with the relevant Chieftaincy Laws of the state and the Constitution of the community in conducting the election that produced the Eze-elect.
Chief Ogwumike who was represented by Dcn. Uzoma Isiakpu, a retired Permanent Secretary of the Abia State Civil Service told the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa and his team that the Eze-elect, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba secured 63 votes against 35 votes polled by his rival, Chief Kelechi Alwell Amajuoyi to win the election.

According to Chief Cyprian Ogwumike, the election was free, fair, peaceful and the outcome acceptable to all.
Chief Ogwumike said that after declaration of the result by the Chairman of the Screening/Election Committee, Dr. Chibuzo Emereuwa, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba was formally presented to the community as Eze Udo 11 elect and certificate of return given to him.

The Chairman of Ama-ano People’s Assembly used the occasion to commend the State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti and the Isiala Ngwa North Mayor, Ambassador Innocent Chiedoziem Uruakpa for uplifting the traditional institution which he said, has received a boost since the inception of the present administration, pointing out that Ama-ano autonomous community will continue to support the performing administration of the governor.
He urged the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North to make his recommendations to the appropriate authorities to facilitate the recognition and presentation of staff of office to the Eze-elect, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba as the Udo 11 of Ama-ano Nsulu Autonomous Community.
Speaking after his presentation to the authorities of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Chief Chinonyerem Dimgba, Udo 11 elect of Ama-ano Nsulu thanked Ambassador Innocent Chiedoziem Uruakpa for the warm reception accorded the community and assured him that his reign will be peaceful as well as usher in progress and development.
The Eze-elect also promised to ensure that his subjects will support programmes and polices of the government.
The colourful Ezeship presentation which attracted a large crowd from the community and her neighbours was witnessed some eminent personalities.
