The Rt Hon Amobi Ogah Campaign Council says it is aware of the attempts by a desperate opponent in the forthcoming 2027 National Assembly elections to compel the staff of the Federal Polytechnic in Umunneochi to register to work as Ad-hoc staff for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC at the poll with the sinister motive of manipulating the outcome from every level.
According to the Campaign Council, it is also aware that the desperate candidate who wants to return to the National Assembly at all costs had directed the compelled staff to bring their documents after accessing the INEC portal to enable the manipulation of postings for the adhoc staff jobs.
It however described the effort to manipulate election results through such manipulated postings as one that will never be allowed to see the light of the day and enjoined INEC to avoid such manipulations in the interest of peace .
The body however expressed confidence that with the great support of the people of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi have already shown Hon Ogah, any of such attempts will be highly resisted by the masses.
Recalling the people oriented representation of Hon Ogah which has attracted many development projects as well as unprecedented records of empowerment, the Amobi Campaign Council made the clear that no amount of desperation and connection make resulting in changing the will of the masses that have already cued behind Hon Ogah.
