Over 3000 benefit from Hon Ogah medical outreach

Over three thousand Constituents have benefitted from the just concluded Hon. Amobi Ogah 2-Day Eye Care Services proramme held in Umunneochi and Isuikwuato Local Government Areas.

The outreach sponsored by the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah through his foundation, Amobi Ogah Foundation in partnership with Vision Savers Eye Care Center ran simultaneously on the 25th and 26th October at Marist Cottage hospital, Uturu in Isuikwuato LGA and Nkwoagu Isuochi in Umunneochi LGA.

Constituents with various degrees of eye challenges were Screened, treated and administered with appropriate drugs.

According to the medical team over 500 cataract surgeries were performed while over 3,000 eyeglasses to aid their vision were distributed to the patients free of charge.

Speaking with Hanto Daily News, Hon Ogah thanked God for the success recorded during the outreach and appreciated the Medical team for their patriotism.

The National Assembly member reiterated his resolve to continue engaging in programmes and projects that have direct positive impacts on the masses and thanked the people for turning out enmasse for the medical outreach.

“The welfare and well-being of my constituents will always be my priority and I will diligently and painstakingly live to it”, he vowed.
