IsDB facility will accelerate development in Abia – Eze Nto Mbah

The Chairman Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mbah (LINTO) says the $125 million financing facility secured by Governor Alex Otti from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project will accelerate development in the state.

Reacting to the approval of $125 million financing facility from Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Eze Nto Mbah noted with excitement that the facility would result in the construction of approximately 126 kilometres of road network in Aba and 35.57 kilometres in Umuahia, as well as critical erosion control works in the state.

The Royal Father expressed the hope that the infrastructural development projects of the Governor would reduce travel time in Abia roads; create jobs for the people, arrest erosion menace among others.

He commended Governor Alex Otti for his achievements so far, pointing out that his administration has earned the trust of leading international development institutions because of its transparency in governance.

Eze Nto Mbah noted that, the Governor’s commitment has not only restored public confidence but has also drawn the attention of multilateral and bilateral partners eager to support the transformation agenda of his administration.

The Royal Father, who doubles as the Traditional Ruler of AtaIgboukwu kingdom, Umuzomgbo, Arochukwu LGA thanked President Bola Tinubu and other partners of Abia State Government for their various roles in securing the bank facility for the further development in the state.
