Workers Stop Air Peace Operations Nationwide

Reports say flight operations of Air Peace were on Tuesday (11/8/26) grounded with terminals under lock and key as members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, embarked on industrial action against the airline.

At the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, the protest by union members working with Air Peace has already affected an Air Peace flight scheduled to depart Lagos at 6:30 a.m. which could not take off.

According to reports, the airline is facing the same challenge across all airports nationwide.

Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Mr. Michael Achimugu, confirmed the incident, when contacted and details are expected from his office soon.
