The Member Representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has reaffirmed his commitment to defending the interests of Ndigbo on the floor of the House of Representatives.
Hon Ogah who gave the assurance when he played host to the Igbo Community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reiterated his unwavering support for the Igbo and called for equity and justice for the people.
He noted the crucial role the Igbo play in driving the nation’s economy and development, pointing out that “without the Igbo, Nigeria cannot stand.”
Hon ogah who is known for his strong stance on defending the people at the floor of the house of representatives used the forum to once again call for the release of the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
He however warned those who hide under the guise of IPOB to perpetrate evil to desist from such actions and made it clear that sit – at – home cannot secure Kanu’s release
Earlier, the President General of the IGBO Community Association FCT, Engr. Ikenna Ellis-Ezerekwe, praised Hon. Ogah’s positive strides in his constituency, disclosing that the association has been monitoring his steps.
