As Christians in Abia State and the country celebrate Easter, the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr Oluebube Chukwu, has called on them to reflect on the selfless love of Jesus Christ in order to embody the values in their daily lives.
In his Easter message, Dr Chukwu reminded Abians of the need to embrace the spirit of love, sacrifice and renewal which Easter represents.
He therefore emphasized the importance of unity and peace, stressing that they are necessary in the development of society.
“Easter is a time to remember the ultimate sacrifice and triumph of hope over despair. As we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, let us also renew our commitment to building a stronger, united and more prosperous Abia,” he opined.
The Due Process Boss while wishing the people memorable celebrations, commended Governor Alex Otti for the ongoing efforts to transform Abia State, and appealed to them to support the government’s development initiatives.
He, however, reminded Ndi Abia that new beginnings are always possible, adding that with determination the state would attain the desired level.
