A top Gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mascot Uzor Kalu has been successfully screened to contest the Governorship primaries of the party.
Mascot Uzor Kalu in a message posted on his social media handle lauded the National Working Committee, the Screening Committee led by Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoye, for the smooth and credible process.
He expressed his desire to remain committed and focused towards the party primaries scheduled for May 21.
The statement reads:
“I am glad to announce to my teeming political supporters and followers that I have been successfully screened by the APC Governorship Screening Committee as part of my aspiration to contest the 2027 governorship election in Abia State.
“I appreciate the National Working Committee, the Screening Committee led by Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoye, and all members for the smooth and credible process.
“With this milestone achieved, I remain committed and focused as we move toward the party primaries scheduled for May 21”.
