The 2025 Men of Honour International Conference of the Canaanland Adoration Ministries, known as E Dey Work has rolled off the ground at the Umuoma Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State, adoration ground of the ministry.
The event which is the 6th edition of the annual gathering for married males of the ministry commenced on Tuesday with Rosary procession, Masses among other activities and would come to a close on Friday 12/9/25.
Declaring the event that attracted members from across Nigeria open, the President/ Spiritual Director Canaanland Adoration ministries, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, popularly known as Fr E Dey Work, said the four day retreat is aimed at rejuvenating the lives of male Adorers in order to expand kingdom services and build adorable families.
Rev Fr Dr Ebere who stressed the need for fathers as heads of their families to hand over their lives to God, noted that the gathering will also help in restoring distressed relationships.
While assuring participants of God’s readiness to reward those who diligently serve him, the Catholic Priest called on them to utilize the period in rededicating themselves to God for positive changes in their lives.
The revered Priest who thanked the leadership of the group for its ingenuity, also appreciated the Owerri zone of the Men of Honour international for its decision feed all participants throughout the duration of the conference and assured that he will grant the body’s request for a parcel of land to raise a structure for accommodation.
Presenting his address, the President Men of Honour International, surveyor Sir Reginald Odunze thanked God for keeping men of the ministry alive to participate in this year’s conference.
While enumerating many positivities that emanate from the event, Sir Odunze disclosed that issues relating to herbal medicine, the family, information management and agriculture would be discussed by experts.
“The cohesion that exists amongst men during the conference, if properly harnessed, can lead to the formation of a strong political group that can even control government at different levels of governance.
“Participation in the conference helps to take care of stress, high blood pressure and other worries of life. This achieved by the raw word of God from our Prophet and meditating on them..”, Sir Odunze pointed out.
He therefore called on participants to avail themselves of the various opportunities provided by the conference in Enriching themselves spiritually and materially.
The President of the body further thanked the spiritual Director of the ministry , Rev fr Dr Ebere for his love for Adorers and appealed for the allocation of a parcel of land to enable men erect a structure for the accommodation of its members.
