Bishop Nwobi receives Fr Ebere and E Dey Work men

As part of the activities marking the 2025 Men of Honour international Fire Conference, of the Canaanland Adoration ministries worldwide, A. K. A. E Dey work , members of the organization on Thursday trouped out in their numbers to the Headquarters of the Catholic Diocese of Ahiara, Imo State to pay courtesies on the Bishop, Most Rev Simeon Okezuo Nwobi, (CMF).

Receiving the group, who was visiting for the first time since his assumption of office, Most Rev Nwobi, reminded them of the need to be honourable as their name indicates, pointing out that the church and indeed the country need such people to address societal challenges.

Bishop Nwobi while lamenting the moral decadence and negligence of the family by fathers made it clear that what dignifies and honours one is the way he lives his life and not the titles acquired.

He commended the President Canaanland Adoration ministries, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, for the role he has been operating in the spiritual Uplift of Adorers and stated his readiness to continue working with the ministry in the job of kingdom service.

The Catholic Bishop pointed out that his mission is to gather the children of God, noting that the visit will enable him to interact with the group whose intention is to evangelize for the expansion of the christendom.

Bishop Nwobi therefore urged them to continue to remain the Peoples’ guide and the beacon of love and light, pointing out that as men of honour, they must act in attractive and dignified men.

In his introductory remarks, the president/ Spiritual Director, Canaanland Adoration ministries, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, known as Fr E Dey Work, described the Bishop as his Father and guide and thanked the Bishop for his love for him.

He described Bishop Nwobi as a divine settlement for Ahiara Diocese and thanked God for the attainments made so far in uniting the children in the Diocese.

Presenting his speech, the President Men of Honour International, Surveyor Sir Reginald Odunze, thanked God for the gift of the Bishop to Ahiara diocese, expressing joy that his arrival has brought spiritual growth and intensified evangelism which the ministry stands for.

Sir Odunze who pledged the support of the Men of Honour International to the Diocese further thanked God for what he was using Rev Fr Ebere in doing.

In their speeches, some members of the group including Eze Cyril Uwoma and Dr B. C. Iheoha commended the cordiality between the Bishop and the ministry and thanked him for being a good father.
