Many lives were this Saturday morning lost with scores injured in an oil tanker explosion at Dikko junction around the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, Niger State.
Hanto Daily News Correspondent who visited the scene of the explosion revealed that many burnt to death were beyond recognition.
According to Eyewitness accounts, the Tanker with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) exploded when some residents of the area went to scoop its content after an accident.

The Governor in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, said the governor expressed shock over the incident.
While cautioning the people to always give priority to their safety, he sympathized with the families of the victims and prayed to God for the repose of their souls.
The Governor however directed all the relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to tay actions to save more lives and charged the security agents to secure the area.
