Reports reaching Hanto Daily News say Nigeria’s Super Eagles are in Fes, Morocco, for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team led by Head coach, Éric Chelle and his players arrived in the Moroccan city on Thursday night after five days preparatory camp in Cairo, Egypt.
Recall as part of their preparations, the Super Eagles in Tuesday engaged the Pharaohs of Egypt in their only pre-AFCON friendly at the Cairo International Stadium which the Super Eagles lost 1 – 2 to Pharaohs of Egypt.
The three-time African champions opening match is against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Tuesday, 23/12/25.
Having lost out in the attempt to qualify for the next world cup holding next year, Soccer fans are expecting the Nigerian side to compensate them with AFCON Trophy, making it the fourth time the coveted title come to the most populous black nation.
