Abia State Police command says it has arrested three (3) suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of Mr and Mrs James Udo at Etiti-ulo in Bende LGA of the State..
A release endorsed by the Command’s PPRO, Maureen Chinaka says the suspects for the heinous crime are currently under interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Umuahia.
Recall, Mr Jacob Udo, 78 yrs old and Mrs Dorcas Jacob, 73 yrs old, of Ndiwo Itumbuzo, Bende LGA Abia State but residents at Etiti-ulo in the same Bende LGA were found lying lifeless in a pool of blood in their compound on Wednesday, 2/10/24 with several of their properties carted away from the house.
The corpses have been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, Danladi Isa has expressed deep concern over the unfortunate incident and appealed to the people of Abia State to remain calm
He however assured them that the mystery behind this criminal act will be unraveled to ensure prompt dispensation of justice.
