The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has unveiled plans for a ₦3 billion constituency empowerment programme scheduled to hold in November.

Speaking at Isuochi during a grand civic reception organized for Governor Alex Otti on Friday, Hon Ogah explained that the initiative will provide financial support, equipment and tools to empower constituents, promote entrepreneurship, reduce unemployment and improve livelihoods.
Hon Ogah who formally invited Governor Otti to attend and officially flag off the multi-billion naira empowerment programme, described it as one of the largest constituency empowerment initiatives ever undertaken in the constituency.
The Lawmaker made public that about 100 vulnerable persons and small business owners would each receive ₦1 million as direct grants under the programme, in addition to the distribution of operational equipment to other beneficiaries.
He commended the leadership of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, describing his administration as a shining example of good governance and people-centred leadership.

Hon Ogah made it clear that the Governor’s developmental strides had restored hope, confidence and pride among the people of Abia State.
According to him, Governor Otti has demonstrated that leadership is about improving the lives of the people through impactful governance and selfless service.
“You have shown us what good governance truly means. You have demonstrated that it is possible to give back to society in ways that touch lives directly. Everywhere we go today, we are proud to call ourselves Abians because of the standard you are setting,” the Lawmaker enthused.
He pointed out that the Governor’s style of governance has inspired him to adopt people- oriented representation at the National Assembly.
The National Assembly member reiterated his commitment to delivering quality infrastructure, effective public service and life-changing programmes for the people of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents, saying his passion for service was driven by gratitude and a desire to positively impact lives.
He assured the people that regardless of political differences, he would continue to champion programmes and projects that would accelerate the development of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi and improve the standard of living of the people.
