As the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, to Umunneochi for the historic and official flags off of the reconstruction of the 12 Kilometres, Ngodo-Umuaku-Mbala road project on Wednesday, 26th February, 2025, the Executive Chairman, Umunneochi Local Government Area, Chief Sunny Afurobi has invited the people of the Council Area and residents to the historic event.
Chief Sunny Afurobi in a release he personally signed named those invited to include: the Chairman and Members of Umunneochi Traditional Rulers Advisory Council and their Ugoeze’s, the Presidents General of Isuochi, Nneato and Umuchieze Towns, including their Women and Youth Wings, all Autonomous Communities Presidents General, and their Women and Youth Wings.
Others are the Heads of various Religious Groups, All Farmers Association, Members of Umunneochi Nolly, all Transport Unions, all Market Unions, all Umunneochi Online Groups, and the entire people of Umunneochi local government area.
He enjoined them to troop out in their large numbers, to welcome and celebrate the Governor and his team to prove their hospitality, solidarity, and total support for him.
The Mayor on behalf of Management, Staff, all elected and appointed officials, Abia Arise family, and other Critical Stakeholders of Umunneochi local government area, joyfully thanked Governor Otti, for the historic occasion and prayed God to grant him and his entourage journey mercies .
