Deal a decisive blow on crime – Community Leader tasks Abia Govt

The President General of Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Improvement Union, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA of Abia State, Sir Uzomba Ekwuribe, has stressed the need for government to intensify efforts towards tackling the rising spate of insecurity in the State.

Speaking when he alongside the Leadership and critical stakeholders of the community paid a solidarity visit to rejoice with the family of Sir Chisom Nwokoji who was recently released by kidnappers, Sir Ekwuribe expressed their relief at Sir Nwokoji’s safe return.

While emphasizing the importance of unity as exhibited by the community during this trying moment, he further called for increased vigilance and cooperation among residents to prevent further incidents.

The President General who is also the Traditional Prime Minister of Egwuneleke community however commended the efforts of law enforcement agencies in Imo and Abia States in securing Sir Nwokoji’s release and recovery of his car from where it was abandoned in Aro Ndizuogu, Imo State

Recall, Sir Uzomba Ekwuribe had earlier led the community in a prayer session asking God to ensure the release and safety of Sir Chisom and the recovery of his vehicle.
