Everything is now in place as Boxers scheduled to participate in the December 16th, 2025, tournament holding in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia state, tagged “The Rising Lion in Elephant Shadow Boxing Championship – “ENYIMBA 2025” are already in Enyimba city for the tournament that will see champions defend their titles.
Hanto Daily News correspondent reports that Emperor, King Priest, Izzy Money, and the CEO of Ikeuj Boxing Promotions have arrived in Aba for the Boxing Championship.
The event slated to take place at Aba Sports Club 1926, located at No 1 Club Road, Aba, Abia State.
The championship which promises to be an exciting one, will see top-notch boxers competing for the South Eastern Regional belts.
Zoe Chibuike Okoronkwo (“King Priest”) will defend his Featherweight title against Nwambeke Ndubisi, while Israel Obinna Ogbodo (“Izzy Money”) takes on Udeh Chibuike in the Super Featherweight category.
In another bout, Chinaza Ikechukwu Okoronkwo (“Emperor”) will be facing Ede Emmanuel Peter in the Lightweight category.
Speaking in an interview, the South Eastern Nigeria Feather Weight Boxing Champion and the Pride of Amangwu Arochukwu, Chibuike Zoe Okoronkwo assured that he is totally prepared to successfully defend his title in his State of origin.
He appreciated Governor Alex Otti for his sports friendly disposition as well as the promoters of the championship, IKEUJ Boxing Promotions, the Sanctioning Body and the Presidency Nigerian Boxing Board of Control
( NBBof C) their roles in the exciting championship.
Baring his mind, Ex-International Boxer and Promoter, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, expressed confidence that the event will be hitch-free.
