A young Man said to be Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Security, (Ebonyi North) Felix Okemini has been suspended by the Management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufo Alike Ikwo, (AE-FUNAI) over allegations of Cultism.
The said Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor, who matriculated last Friday (14-3-25) in the university is a student of the Political Science Department.
The University in a statement noted that it maintains zero tolerance to cultism and cult-related activities as it’s against the rules and regulations governing students’ activities.
Apparently in a reaction to the development, the Ebonyi State Government had on Tuesday in a press Statement by the Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, Prof. Grace Umezurike approved the dismissal of Felix Okemini and Nnanna Nwangele, A special assistant to the Governor on Airport security over gross misconduct.
The Statement, requested the dismissed officers to handover all government properties in their possession not later than 4pm that Tuesday, 18th March 2025.
To further exhibit government’s anger over the ugly attitude, the statement warned the two officers not to be seen anywhere around Ebonyi Government House or participate in any Government Activities.
