Abia State Government has announced that the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 20, 2025 has been cancelled.
A release endorsed by the Commissioner for Environment, Philemon Asonye Ogbonna, however, urges residents to clean their surroundings, including homes, offices, markets, and business premises, in the interest of public health and environmental sanitation throughout the festive period.
The release while declaring that there will be no restriction of movement, affirms that citizens are free to go about their lawful activities.
