Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, has approved the appointment of eleven (11) new Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service.

Abia State, Benson Ojiekere says the appointment followed their success in the recently conducted 2026 Permanent Secretary Selection Exercise.
The new Permanent Secretaries include: Uwaoma Ajike, Rollingstone Frances Ogechi, Okoro Precious Uma, Nwaogwugwu Peace C. and Uwajimgba Vincent Uchechukwu
Others are: Jackson Sunday Onyebuchi, Ukpabi Ngozi Juliet, Chinyere Josephine Kanno, Egesie Ijeoma Michelle, Ogugbue Kelechi Stella and Chukwuma Thelma Ijeoma
According to the release, further details regarding the swearing-in ceremony will be communicated in due course.
