A Non Governmental organisation founded by Dr Oluebube Amarauche Chukwu to support rural and developing communities through strategic Philanthropy, The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), is three years today, Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The foundation which already earned conspicuous recognition will be celebrating its third anniversary which marks three years of humanitarian service, empowerment and community-focused interventions.
The Foundation’s three-year journey remains anchored on its vision of “Building Today For A Better Tomorrow,” with a continued commitment to using humanitarian action to create lasting positive change.
The third anniversary comes at a significant period for the Foundation, following a series of recognitions for its humanitarian and social development efforts.
Most recently, OACF was honoured with the Humanitarian Social Impact Maker Award at the 16th Annual Humanitarian Public Lecture, Graduation and Induction Ceremony held in Abuja on August 22, 2026.
Founded on August 25, 2023, the foundation was established with a vision to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
Available statistics show that The OACF has, over the past three years, continued to implement initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable people and creating opportunities for social and economic empowerment.
Its programmes cover areas including humanitarian intervention, women and youth empowerment, skills development, education, community mobilisation and social support, among others.
Through these interventions, OACF has continued to promote self-reliance and improve the wellbeing of beneficiaries across different communities.
As OACF enters its fourth year, the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on its journey so far while looking ahead to greater humanitarian interventions and expanded programmes for vulnerable individuals, women, youths and communities.
