Dear Worthy Knights, Distinguished Stakeholders, and Beloved Brethren,

Further to the invitation earlier extended by our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Bro. Peter Dim, I write to respectfully lend my voice in inviting you all to the 18th Annual Diocesan Synod of our great Diocese of Ihube.

For ease of reference, I have reposted the official invitation card below.

This year’s Synod, scheduled to hold from the 16th to 19th of April 2026 at Christ Methodist Church, Akpugo (Unity Circuit), is convened under the profoundly reassuring theme: “I Will Fight for You” (Exodus 14:14).

In these times, this theme speaks powerfully to our collective realities, reminding us that even as we labor faithfully in the vineyard, our ultimate confidence rests in the Lord who fights our battles and grants us victory.

I warmly encourage all Worthy Knights, our Distinguished Stakeholders, and indeed all faithful brethren to make it a duty to attend and actively participate in this Synod. Your presence and support remain vital to the continued growth and strengthening of our Diocese.

May I also humbly urge that we support the Synod in every way possible—through our prayers, our presence, and our resources—so that together, we may experience the fullness of God’s promise to us.

I look forward to welcoming you all.

God bless you richly.

Sir Prince Ebere Nwokoro, FCArb, FNILA, KJW
Lay President, Diocese of Ihube.
