You are doing well, keep it up – Lady Victoria Sam Mbakwe tells Gov Otti

In line with his administration’s policy of recognizing and according due honours and respects to those who made remarkable contributions to the development of society, Abia State Governor on Tuesday paid another unscheduled visit to Lady Victoria Mbakwe, wife of the former and highly celebrated Governor of the Old Imo State, late Dr. Sam Mbakwe ( Dee Sam) at her Avutu Obowo country home.

Governor Otti was accompanied on the visit which was not his first to the revered family by the National Secretary of the Labour Party, Sen. Darlington Nwokocha, the Member representing Ikwuano, Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha, member representing Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Roland Chinwendu, the Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC), High Chief Victor Ikeji, among others.

Receiving her August guests, Lady Mbakwe, commended Governor Dr. Alex Otti for the good works his patriotic and remarkable services to the people and prayed God to continue granting him the strength to perform his duties.

While specifically thanking the Governor for regularly looking out for them and supporting the family, she made it clear that Governor Otti’s support to the family is not tied to Christmas visits and festive seasons, revealing that he has remained regular in caring for them.

Mrs Mbakwe used the forum to also commend the Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, whom she disclosed, has been consistent with his support for the family without just like the Abia Governor .

Gift items from the First Lady of Abia State, Lady, Priscilla Chidimma Otti, who was unavoidably absent were presented to the former First Lady by Governor Otti who explained the reason for the absence of his wife .
