As the world marks the World Mental Health Day, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, (OACF) has stressed the need to prioritize mental wellness in order to empower people to live with purpose, creativity, and hope.
The foundation in a release to celebrate the day, noted that the pivot of a healthy community starts with empathy.
” As a community, we can make a difference by showing kindness, listening without criticism, and supporting one another through difficult times.
“Let’s break the silence, end the stigma, and build communities where everyone feels safe to seek help and heal. Together, let’s build a culture that embraces healing, hope, and love for all, OACF pointed out.

According to the Humanitarian and Philanthropic body, “True health goes beyond the body, it begins in the mind, where hope, courage, and strength take root.
In our daily lives, it’s easy to overlook the struggles people face internally. Many people silently face stress, anxiety, and depression every day.”
OACF therefore enjoined all to make out time to check in on a friend, offering a kind word, or simply listening, pointing out that such could go a long way in fostering healing and connection.
