World AIDS Day : Let’s choose compassion, awareness, action – OACF

As the World AIDS Day is marked today, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, OACF, has called on all to choose compassion, awareness, and action in the bid to eliminate the disease.

In a release to celebrate the event, OACF, made it clear that HIV is preventable and manageable, adding that with early testing, proper treatment, and consistent care, individuals can live long, healthy lives.

The philanthropic organization therefore emphasized that Prevention through protection, PrEP, PEP, and safe practices remains key to addressing the challenge.

“Today, we stand with everyone affected by HIV
honoring lives lost, supporting those living with the virus, and pushing for a world free from stigma and fear.

“HIV is preventable and manageable. With early testing, proper treatment, and consistent care, individuals can live long, healthy lives. Prevention through protection, PrEP, PEP, and safe practices remains key.

“Let’s choose compassion, awareness, and action. Together, we can build a future where everyone has access to care, dignity, and hope,” the statement read.
