While stressing the need to eliminate quacks within the profession, the Due Process Boss enjoined them to always promote truth and made it clear that when Journalists fail to carry out their jobs, society will be negatively affected.

He thanked the union for the opportunity to engage with journalists on the responsibilities of the media in society.
Dr Chukwu pointed out that the free flow of credible information remains essential to societal growth, explaining that citizens need accurate and timely information to understand government policies, evaluate public programmes and participate meaningfully in governance.
The Senior Special Assistant Chukwu made it clear that the media has the responsibility of promoting transparency and accountability through credible reporting, balanced presentation of issues and objective scrutiny of public institutions.
Speaking on the activities of the Due Process Office, Dr Chukwu noted with delight the office which became truly and effectively functional under the Dr Alex Otti administration has reduced costs and saved money for the state through ensuring due process in procurement.
The engagement featured an interactive session during which Chukwu responded to questions from members of the union, providing clarifications on issues raised and encouraging further dialogue between government and the media.
