President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is to make his maiden visit to the South East State of Abia known as God’s own State, to commission the all important port Harcourt road in Aba which has remained dilapidated for over three decades on Friday 3 October, 2025.
Disclosing this during the September Edition of his Monthly Media parley tagged, “Governor Alex Otti speaks” held at the Government House, Umuahia, Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti said that the President will also be commissioning other newly reconstructed roads including: Ohanku, Ndoki, People’s road among others.
The Governor further made public that the reconstruction of the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene road will soon be flagged off to bring succuor to motorists using the strategic inter-state road.
On the Abia Airport project, Governor Otti said that the Abia runway project is smoothly progressing as most landowners along the runway have been compensated and directed those who could not complete documentation to conclude the same in order to resolve their matters.
Regarding the Enyimba Hotel project, the elated Governor announced that the first phase of the project will be delivered next year alongside the Aba leisure park.
