Take The Fight To The Criminals’ Enclaves – Abia CP Challenges Officers

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa has directed officers to take the fight against criminalities to the enclaves of criminals.

Speaking on Thursday 11/6/26 during a meeting with strategic officers of the Command to brief them on the outcome of the ‘Senior Officers’ Conference with the IGP, at the Force Headquarters, the CP warned officers to be proactive and ensure adequate security in the state.

He reminded them of the need to avoid complacency, particularly during this rainy season, when criminal elements often exploit environmental conditions to perpetrate crime.

CP Isa also directed officers to ensure professionalism in the discharge of their duties and consistently project a positive image for the Nigeria Police Force.

He cautioned them against engaging in conducts capable of tarnishing the image of the Force and enjoined them to remain committed to upholding its integrity.

The CP further charged officers to ensure the effective supervision of their subordinates, strengthen public–community partnership at all levels, enhance inter-agency cooperation, and promote intelligence-led investigation and policing through effective collaboration.

CP Isa further told them of the directive of the Inspector-General of Police on the apprehension of vehicles without number plates and those covering their number plates and directed them to ensure thorough investigation and diligent prosecution of such cases in court.

He used the forum to appreciate the officers for their hard work and dedication in ensuring safety and maintenance of law and order, protection of lives and property.

He however encouraged officers to do more by remaining professional and respectful as well as ensuring strict adherence to human rights including the protection of the rights of suspects under investigation.
