Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation Honoured By International Bodies As Humanitarian Social Impact Maker

The dictum; a golden fish has no hiding place came to fulfilment once again as The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) was on Saturday (22/8/26) honoured with Humanitarian Excellence in Service Award at the 16th Annual Humanitarian Public Lecture, Graduation and Induction Ceremony held in Abuja.

The honour which recognised OACF as a Humanitarian Social Impact Maker.

Presenting the award, the organisers: the Institute for Humanitarian Studies & Social Development (IHSD) in partnership with UNITAR and CIFAL Nigeria, explained that the award is in recognition of OACF’s outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, empowerment, social inclusion, and community development.

They commended OACF for the impact already made by the body in humanitarian services and enjoined the management not to relent in their effort to transform the society.

Speaking with Hanto Daily News after receiving the award, the Programme Manager of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), Helen Mannic, pointed out that the recognition further reinforces OACF’s commitment to creating lasting social impact and building stronger communities across Nigeria.

She commended the organizers for recognizing the little effort by the OACF and thanked the founder of the Foundation, Dr Oluebube Chukwu for his encouragement foresight.

The event with the theme: “Resilience in Action: Strengthening Ethical Leadership, Inclusivity and Humanitarian Values in Nigeria,” focused attention on the need for ethical leadership, inclusivity, resilience and stronger humanitarian values in Nigeria.

The ceremony attracted the presence of many distinguished dignitaries including Dame Patience Jonathan (represented by Hadiza Usman), Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, (former Kaduna State Governor) who chaired the event, Governor Alex Otti (represented by Hon. Odinaka Eric Eme), Prof. Uwaoma Kalu Uche, among others.
