The Oluebube A Chukwu Foundation, a non governmental philanthropic organisation that has continually participated actively in improving the environmental sanitation of Abia state has announced its February schedule for the Five Local Government Councils in Abia North Zone.
A release by the OACF says the monthly sanitation exercise for February will be held on Saturday, 28th as follows:
Ohafia LGA – Amaogudu Abiriba ward.
Bende LGA – Uzuakoli ward.
Isuikwuato LGA – Ezere Ward 2.
Umunneochi LGA – Zone 3 ( Nneato).
According to the release, the LGA Managers are expected to choose a major local market or a place of public interest for the exercise expected to attract both locals and members of OACF.
OACF therefore calls on Abians and every resident of the State to turnout in their numbers on Saturday for this month’s environmental sanitation exercise in acknowledgment of the efforts of the Dr Alex Otti administration regarding the cleanliness of the State.
The release reiterates the determination of the foundation to collaborate with the people oriented leadership of Governor Alex Otti in keeping the Abia environment clean at all times.
