Super Eagles safe hands, Stanley Nwabali, has departed his club, Chippa United after four years with the club.
A statement by the club on Thursday (5/2/26) which confirmed the situation said Nwabali left the South African club after submitting a transfer request, asking to leave.
Recall, the 29-year-old super Eagles goalkeeper only put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension deal in 2024.
Chippa United in the statement made it clear that they have agreed to grant him his request and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
“We would like to sincerely thank Stanley Nwabali for the years of service, commitment, and professionalism he has shown during his time at Chippa United Football Club. His contribution to the club will always be appreciated,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, the next destination of Nwabali is yet to be made public but there are indications that the Rivers State born Goal Keeper may hit the European soil.
