The Hon Amobi Ogah, HAO, media office media office says no amount of blackmail or backbiting will stop the meeting between the member representing Isuikwuato Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon Amobi Ogah and members of the Labour party in Umunneochi LGA scheduled to hold on Tuesday 13/8/24 at the LG party Office, Nkwoagu.
Reacting to reports credited to Mr Ndubuisiike , Mayor of Umunneochi, cancelling the meeting scheduled by the House of Rep member, the HAO Media office warned Mr Ike to desist from any act capable of harming the National Assembly member, alleging that there are reports that he was mobilizing thugs to harm their Principal and disrupt the meeting.
The HAO media office described as false the online report concerning stopping the meeting scheduled by Hon Ogah, declaring that the witness being quoted in the publications will be surprised to read the twisted story.
Part of the letter reads:
“The Media Office of the Honourable Member has been following an online media publication against our Principal, an elected Member Representing the good people of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency and which to inform you that the Honorable member will not come dome to your level for word exchange, as you have shown your childish character through your cheap blackmail.”
“Mr. Ndubuisi Ike, you should also recall that the meeting was not a secret one of which you noted a witness present during the meeting. We believe that he will be amazed to read the lies coming out of your mouth through your write-ups.”
While alleging that the refusal of Hon Ogah to support the Mayor’s Chairmanship position in the forth- coming LG election in the interest of equity and zoning arrangement is at the root of the attack on the Legislator, the media office expressed happiness Governor Alex Otti has made it clear that the chairmanship ticket is not automatic.
