Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, says the 2027 general elections will lead to the formation of a new government.
Primate Ayodele in a Facebook video on Sunday, June 7, 2026, reiterated his earlier political prediction, emphasizing that a significant shift is on the horizon in Nigeria’s leadership.
He insisted that Senator Godswill Akpabio would not emerge as the next Senate President, stating that political events would unfold differently from what many anticipate.
“I said Akpabio will not be next senate president. There will be a new senate president, a new government. There are formation of new government. Maybe it’s APC or PDP or ADC or NDC or NRC. I don’t know but I see everything new.”
The Primate advised the country to prepare for a complete overhaul in governance, stressing that these prophecies are not just speculative but are already taking shape behind the scenes.
Ayodele who admitted uncertainty as to which political platform might benefit from this shift, pointed out that the ongoing political alignments, negotiations, and strategic repositioning among key actors indicate that the groundwork for a new administration is already being laid.
