The wife of the Senate President, Unoma Godswill Akpabio, has dismissed the claims of sexual harassment against her husband by Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti, describing it as a calculated effort aimed at creating content for personal gains.
Mrs Akpabio who addressed a press conference in Abuja this Friday, further described Senator Natasha’s claims as maligning.
The wife of the Senate President made it clear that her husband is a disciplined and jovial person who is often misinterpreted.
The Senator had accused Akpabio of making sexual advances at her in the presence of her husband.
The Kogi born senator while fielding questions on Arise Television Morning Show programme this Friday alleged that Akpabio blocked her motions from being heard on the floor of the red chamber because she rejected his advances
The current unhealthy situation at the Red Chambers could be traced to the issue of relocation of Senator Akpoti from her seat which resulted in bitter exchange of words between the Senate President and the Kogi born Senator.
