Hon Amobi Ogah Remains Lawmaker Who Remains Undistracted – Oluebube Chukwu

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Due Process, Dr Oluebube A. Chukwu, has expressed confidence in the Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, describing him as a determined and committed lawmaker who remains undistracted in the discharge of his legislative duties.

Speaking amid recent political developments surrounding the constituency, Dr Chukwu said there was no cause for concern over Hon. Ogah’s resolve, noting that the federal lawmaker remains fully dedicated to the mandate freely given to him by the people.

According to him, Hon. Ogah has continued to demonstrate courage, stability and a strong sense of responsibility in representing the interests of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi at the National Assembly, despite attempts in some quarters to stir unnecessary political tension.

Dr Chukwu stated that the lawmaker has remained focused on matters of governance, lawmaking and constituency development, insisting that distractions will not deter him from the responsibilities entrusted to him by his constituents.

He reassured the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi that their representative is committed to sustaining effective representation through people-oriented initiatives, legislative interventions and regular engagement with the grassroots.

The Governor’s aide noted that democracy must always respect the choice of the electorate, stressing that the 2023 general election in the constituency reflected the will of the people and produced Hon. Ogah as their preferred representative through a legitimate democratic process.

While acknowledging the constitutional right of every aggrieved person to seek legal redress, Dr Chukwu maintained that political disagreements should not be allowed to degenerate into acts capable of distracting elected officials from serving the public.

He therefore urged political actors in the constituency to place the collective interest of the people above personal ambition and allow the lawmaker to concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to the constituency.

The Due Process Boss further made it clear that Hon. Ogah as one of the lawmakers who has continued to make visible impact through constituency projects, educational support initiatives, youth empowerment efforts, healthcare interventions and legislative contributions on the floor of the House.

According to him, the lawmaker’s activities in office have not only strengthened his relationship with constituents but have also positioned him as a notable voice for the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi in the current National Assembly.

He warned against what he called unnecessary political distractions capable of slowing down development efforts in the constituency, stressing that the people deserve sustained progress, stability and quality representation rather than prolonged political conflict.

Dr Chukwu also called on traditional rulers, youth leaders, women groups, community stakeholders and residents of the constituency to continue supporting Hon. Ogah in his efforts to attract development and defend the interests of the people.

He expressed optimism that the lawmaker would continue to justify the confidence reposed in him through impactful representation, responsive leadership and a sustained commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
