The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), Dr Oluebube A. Chukwu, has reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to partnering with reputable foundations and non-governmental organizations dedicated to improving lives through humanitarian and community development initiatives.
Making the declaration while receiving a delegation from the Hillary Foundation during a familiarization visit to the OACF office in Umuahia, Dr Chukwu stated that meaningful collaborations among organizations with shared values remain essential to expanding the reach and impact of humanitarian interventions.
He made it clear that the Foundation remains open to partnerships that promote sustainable development and improve the wellbeing of communities.
In his presentation, the Leader of the Hillary Foundation delegation, Mr. Adindu Hillary Chukwuemeka, explained that the visit was prompted by the Foundation’s admiration for the outstanding humanitarian work of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation across Umunneochi, Ohafia, Bende, Isuikwuato and Arochukwu Local Government Areas, as well as other communities.
Mr Chukwuemeka noted that the OACF’s people-oriented programmes and consistent commitment to community development have distinguished it as one of the leading humanitarian organizations in the region.
He therefore charged the organization not to relent in its efforts to positively impact lives, pointing out that the society needs such interventions in this period of economic uncertainties.
In her remarks, the Programme Manager of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation, Mrs. Helen Mannic, appreciated the Hillary Foundation for the visit and for recognizing the Foundation’s humanitarian contributions.
She also highlighted areas where both organizations could collaborate to deepen their shared commitment to social impact and community development and expressed confidence that the relationship would blossom .
The visit featured the presentation of the Hillary Foundation’s catalogue publication and the conferment of the Humanitarian Service to Humanity Award on High Chief Oluebube A. Chukwu in recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanitarian service and community development.
As a mark of appreciation, Mrs. Helen Mannic presented copies of the OACF Foundation Handbook to members of the visiting delegation and expressed confidence that the relationship between both organizations would foster stronger partnerships aimed at delivering lasting development and improving the lives of the people.
