As consultations, alignment and realignment for the 2027 polls continue, former Senator representing Abia North and former PDP State Chairman, Senator Emma Nwaka, has thrown his weight behind the Re-election of Governor Alex Otti.
Senator Nwaka who is now a chieftain of the APC,for a second term in office, made his feelings public on Thursday when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Otti in Umuahia.
The former Commissioner for local government and chieftancy affairs made it clear that the governor has done more for Abia State and Isiukwuato than any previous administrations.
According to him, Governor Otti has performed exceptionally well across the state, with visible development, especially in Isiukwuato Local Government Area.
He further noted that it was the best for power to remain in Abia Central for another four years, in the spirit of equity and fairness.
Hanto Daily News reports that Senator Nwaka’s endorsement is seen in the political circle as very strategic considering his political influence.
