Saturday, 15 November, 2025 was a day to remember in the lives of Adorers and Followers of Canaanland Adoration ministries, AKA E Dey Work as they gathered at the adoration ground at Umuoma Onicha Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State to celebrate their Spiritual Father and President of the ministry , Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere,SDV, (Fr E Dey Work).
The ceremony that drew the presence of Adorers and Admirers of the ministry from all walks of life was put together by members to mark the birthday of the Priest who has positively affected the lives of many people across various religious beliefs.
Addressing the gathering after cutting the birthday cake, Rev Fr Ebere announced his decision to institutionalize the Consolation of the poor unit of the ministry to expand the assistance being rendered to the needy.
Fr E Dey Work made it clear that the effort which is the policy direction in his new year will feature the creation of the Consolation of the Poor Charity Centre at the Owerri office of the ministry located at the world Bank axis of the town.
According to the Catholic Priest, the centre will offer free medical services, Free feeding to the hungry and needy as well as provide financial assistance that will focus on empowering people to overcome economic challenges.
While assuring that the office will operate round the clock, he revealed that such centres will be extended to other parts of the State, South East and Nigeria, pointing out that the mission of E Dey Work ministries is to wipe the tears of those challenged by circumstances.
He thanked Adorers and all who contributed to the celebration for the honour done him and prayed to God to reward them abundantly.
Speaking earlier, the chairman on the occasion Chief Sylvester Obasi described the celebrant as a priest whose ministry has offered escape routes to victims of wicked acts and kingdoms of darkness and enjoined him to continue in his bid to liberate the materially and spiritually oppressed.
Chief Obasi who recounted numerous favours secured from the Grace of Fr E Dey work thanked the priest for focusing on the welfare of people.
Baring his mind, the Chairman of the planning committee and the international president Men of honour of the ministry, Surveyor Sir Reginald Odunze thanked described Fr E Dey work as a gift of God for mankind and thanked him for offering himself as a tool for the liberation of the poor and the needy.
While thanking Fr Ebere for his teachings that have brought spiritual emancipation for many, Sir Odunze commended Adorers for deeming it fit to celebrate their Spiritual Father.
The birthday celebration was preceded by a holy mass where Fr Ebere challenged Christians to always remain faithful in God in their dealings, assuring that adopting such will inspire the Almighty to making them overcomers in all situations.
The event which was also attended by the siblings of the celebrant from Obokwu Obizi Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State witnessed various performances from different Zones, Groups, Individuals and Students as well as the presentation of gifts by Groups and Individuals to the celebrant.
