As Muslims in Abia State join their colleagues globally to celebrate Eid – El Fitr, the Abia State Police Command has felicitated with all Muslim Faithful on the occasion.
The Command in a release endorsed by the Spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chinaka, reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the safety of all residents and visitors in our State.
The Command assured that its Officers are working to provide adequate security to guarantee everyone’s safety before, during, and after the celebration.
It stated that the Command would ensure enhanced presence of its workforce in key areas to closely monitor public gatherings and events to maintain peace and order.
The Command, however, called upon all Muslims and the general public to be vigilant and security-conscious as well as report any suspicious individuals or activities to the Police or use our emergency hotlines .
