It was a gathering of thanksgiving to God as Adorers of Canaanland Adoration Ministries, popularly known as E Dey Work, Family, Friends and well-wishers converged on the Onicha Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State adoration ground to celebrate the 18th Priesthood anniversary of the President cum Spiritual Director, Rev FR Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV.

The humble, humanitarian and outspoken Priest’s journey in drawing souls to Christ through the adoration of Jesus in the holy Eucharist started in Nnewi, Anambra state with less than twenty Adorers before officially securing the ground at Nnobi in the same Anambra state where Adorers turn out in their numbers today to glorify God.
Today, the E Dey Work ministry has another adoration ground in Onicha Ezinihitte, Imo State where thousands of Adorers converge on a weekly basis to praise and worship God via adoration of the blessed sacrament under the guidance of this humble Prophet of God, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, (Fr-E-Dey Work) who belongs to the Society of Divine Vocation, SDV,

Preaching in a church service to mark the Day at the Onicha Ezinihitte Mbaise adoration ground, Rev Fr Magnus Ebere, SDV, assured Christians that God will never abandon those who trust in Him.
Going down memory lane in his journey of priesthood and the adoration ministry, Fr E Dey Work reminded all that there is always a season of abandonment in one’s life.

The Catholic priest, however, assured those who persevere in the Lord that they will conquer, reminding them of the biblical encounter between Elijah and Queen Jezebel.
“There are trying moments in the life of every person. Just trust in God as he will always appear in this moment for a divine turnaround.
“Anytime there seems to be no help coming, God is busy doing something for that person’s emancipation. God doesn’t forsake his children.
“Never be afraid of any situation nor be discouraged in the midst of turbulence.
God abandons one for him to update and redesign the person’s life. God is at that time working for divine shifting to the next level of life. Whenever you experience silence in your life, know that God is preparing you for an uplift,” he enjoined them.

Recalling the prophecy by a lay member during his first anniversary that considering his attainment at that point, that his future would be amazing and remarkable, Rev Fr Dr Ebere thanked God that the prophecy has already become a reality.
In a remark at the reception, Fr Ebere thanked Adorers for putting the event together to honour him and appreciate God, and vowed to remain faithful to God and the church for the conversion of souls and destruction of the kingdoms of darkness.
He therefore prayed God to keep blessing his family, Adorers and all those who work in the vineyard of the Lord.

In his opening remark at the reception, the chairman on the occasion, Dr B. C. Iheoha thanked God for the exploits done through Fr E Dey Work and expressed confidence that he will grow unstoppably.
Speaking on behalf of the Ebere family of Obokwu Ezinihitte Mbaise, Hon Victor Ifeanyichukwu Ebere, an Elder brother to the celebrant, expressed excitement at the exploits the Lord has been using the Catholic Priest to do via the E Dey work ministry.

While describing Fr Ebere as a pride and a rare gift, Hon Victor Ebere thanked God for the grace upon his life and commended Adorers for the love they have continued to shower on his younger brother.
Speaking with Hanto Daily News, the Chairman organizing committee and President Men of Honour International of the Ministry, Surveyor Sir Reginald Odunze described the Celebrant as a priest whose activities have saved thousands of souls and families from the shackles of the evil one and commended the committee for the honour done Fr E Dey Work.

The highly colourful occasion featured cutting of cake presentation of gifts among other events.
