The Media Office of the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has alerted the public of the activities of some unscrupulous elements who have created a Facebook account in Hon Ogah’s name, requesting people to apply for a so-called Federal Government Agric Empowerment Fund.
A release endorsed by the media office, states as follows:
1 . Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah does NOT ask anyone for money to access any federal government empowerment programme, agric fund, grant, or loan.
2 . He does not know and has not authorized any person called Dr. Idris Lukman, using the phone number 09016485269.
3 . He also does not know and has no affiliation with Stella James or the Access Bank account number 1936102080.
4 . Any person requesting money or personal details under this guise is a fraudster.
The release, while calling on those involved in this act to desist forthwith or be prepared to be apprehended by security agents, directs anyone receiving such invitations to report immediately to the appropriate authorities.
It therefore advises the public to disregard such messages and shun sending money to the operators
