Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has announced the dismissal of the state’s Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Child Development, Zainab Baban-Takko, from office.
The Bauchi State government in a statement this Monday, 29/9/25 explained that the decision is part of a slight adjustment in the State Executive Council.
“In that respect, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab-Baban Takko, has been relieved of her appointment with immediate effect.
“The governor thanks the honourable commissioner for her services to the State and wishes her success in her future endeavours,” the statement read.
Recall, Hajiya Zainab has been there as commissioner since the beginning of Governor Mohammed’s first term in 2019.
