Abia State Specialist Hospital Diagnostic Centre, Umuahia, has with the approval of the Governor, Dr Alex Otti commenced the expansion of its services with New Specialty Clinics in Dermatology, Nephrology and Cardiology.
The Chief Medical Director, Dr Chimezie Okwuonu who disclosed this in a release, said that the Hospital will by this gesture enhance its commitment to providing comprehensive, specialized care to its patients.
He explained that the new Specialty Clinics are designed to offer patients access to advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options within the Diagnostic centre for ailments such as stroke, epilepsy, meningitis, neural diseases among others.
Dr Okwuonu noted that the Diagnostic Centre has been a trusted healthcare provider in Umuahia over the years, offering a wide range of medical services to meet the needs of the people.
Recall, the Abia State Executive Council had at a previous sitting approved the comprehensive Upgrade and retrofitting of Amachara General Hospital and the Specialist Hospital Diagnostic Centre, Umuahia
