The Abia State Liaison Office to the National Assembly has reiterated its commitment to fostering strong partnerships between the state and federal government institutions to drive socio-economic development.
Speaking after a high-level meeting with the Clerk of the National Assembly, the Abia State liaison Officer , National Assembly, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa stressed the need for increased federal support in key areas such as infrastructure, security and employment.
He described the engagement with the National Assembly leadership and federal agencies as critical to ensuring that Abia State receives its fair share of federal resources and representation.

Our focus is on collaboration, legislative tracking, and policy advocacy to benefit our people,” Hon. Chinasa pointed out.
He expressed delight that the Liaison Office engaged the Federal Civil Service Commission to address recruitment challenges for Abia citizens, revealing that the commission has so far improved on access to registration through their web portal, which is the first step in the employment process for the commission.
According to him, the Dr. Alex Chioma Otti led administration remains committed to driving initiatives that enhance governance and economic opportunities for the state’s residents.
