The Abia State Police Command says it has activated a comprehensive Operation Order to provide robust security measures before, during, and after the Easter celebrations.
The command in a release endorsed by the spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chinaka states that the effort is in line with its commitment to ensuring public safety.
It points out that Security Personnel have been strategically deployed across Abia State to guarantee the safety of life and property.
The command therefore extends warm greetings to all Christian faithfuls in the state as they celebrate this sacred occasion commemorating the resurrection of Christ and wishes all joy, peace, and blessings.
It however calls on all to be vigilant and security-conscious and report any suspicious individuals or activities to the Police or use our emergency hotlines.
