The Senior Special Assistant to Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube Chukwu has described the commencement of the reconstruction of the 11.1 kilometer Obehie-Umudobis- Owaza road as a testament to the Dr Alex Otti administration’s resolve to reverse years of marginalization of Ukwa.
Speaking with Newsmen after the flagging off of the strategic road project, Dr Chukwu pointed out that the new road and the planned industrial hub would significantly boost economic activities, attract investors, and create jobs for the people.

He aligned with the Governor’s assertion that the approval granted by the Federal Government for the establishment of a modular refinery within the AIIP, with a projected completion timeline of 12 months will not only improve accessibility but also revive the area’s economic potentials and restore the dreams of past generations.
The Due Process Boss reaffirmed that Governor Otti’s proactive governance is setting a new standard in Abia, particularly in infrastructure, economic growth, and social welfare.

“This administration is proving that leadership is about action, not empty promises,” he remarked, encouraging Ukwa residents to rally behind the government’s transformation agenda,” Dr Chukwu declared.
Baring his mind, a former Secretary to the Abia State Government, Pastor Ralph Egbu, who attended the flag-off event commended the Governor’s efforts and pledged the support of Ukwa people to his administration.

While admitting the shortcomings of past administrations, including the one he served in, Pastor Egbu stated “Forgive us if we did wrong during our administration. We did our little bit, but when knowledge precedes vision, the crash is inevitable.”
