Love has been described as the pivot for a peaceful, healthy and successful life.
The President/Spiritual Director Canaanland Adoration Ministries, Worldwide, also known as E Dey Work, Rev Fr Dr Magnus Ebere, SDV, stated this while preaching during the first Sunday Mass of September held at the Desert prayer ground, Umuoma Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State.
Rev Fr Dr Ebere popularly known as Fr E Dey Work, noted that the exhibition of love towards one’s relatives and neighbours guarantees peace, joy and progress which are the ingredients of a successful living.
He made it clear that failure to show love to people around could end in the emotional and spiritual destruction of such an individual and enjoined all to avoid being quarrelsome.
“If you attain progress in life, you must show love to those around you. Wherever there’s love, there’s peace and progress,” the Catholic Priest noted.
He reminded those whose lives are characterized by hatred and wickedness that love loves brings about accommodation and acceptability by neighbours, adding those that adopt love as a way of life never lack solutions to their challenges.
“Make love the flag that must be up in your life. You cannot take over if love is lacking in your life,” he stated.
While pointing out that one does not need money to show true love to others, Fr E Dey Work reminded all that love is reciprocal and enjoined charged Christians to even love their enemies in line with the teachings of Christ.
“The worst thing that can happen to you is to be in crisis with someone close to you. You must work with men in love,” Fr Ebere pointed out.
He further urged all to shun under-rating anyone around them, pointing out that a small irrelevant person of today could turn to become the ladder for success tomorrow.
The Mass attracted Adorers from different branches of the ministry across the country.
