Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has called for vigilance, focus and sustained commitment to the socio-cultural and economic unity of the Southern region and Nigeria at large.
Speaking at the Southern Traditional Rulers Council roundtable meeting held at Galaxy La-Palm Royal Resort, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt, the Governor emphasized the need for national stability and continuity in the polity of the nation.
The Governor made it clear that the country is currently in the capable hands under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and called for unrelenting support for his reelection
While citing the ongoing economic reforms and infrastructure projects such as the coastal road, and acknowledging existing challenges, he further remarked that “no one changes a winning team,” .
Governor Fubara expressed the collective support for continuity in leadership ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The Governor used the forum to wish the traditional rulers fruitful and successful deliberations.
