As the commencement of Nomination Meeting of the begins at Bisi Rodipe Hall, GRA , Ijebu Ode, it has been revealed that a total of 95 princes and princesses of Fusengbuwa Ruling House have indicated interest in the stool of Awujale of Ijebuland.
Disclosing this today at the commencement meeting, the Olori Ebi of Fusengbuwa Ruling House who is also Otunba Jadiara, Lateef Owoyemi informed the gathering that the names of those who scaled the first hurdle would be forwarded to the Afobajes.
According to him, the Afobajes would pick one of the candidates as the next Awujale and forward his name to the Ogun State Government.
Owoyemi, who is a former President of ICAN, urged those in disagreement with the exercise to channel their grievances to the government.
Other leaders of the Ruling House at the meeting included Deputy Olori Ebi, Otunba Ajidagba, Chairman, Chief Fassy Yusuf among others.
