Revered Nollywood legend, High Chief Pete Edochie has admonished those castigating and trashing Peter Obi to have a rethink and beckon for peace.
In a Facebook post Pete Edochie was said to have called on the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, to disembark from any journey aimed at bringing down Mr. Peter Obi.
According to him, such a path, if pursued, will not serve the interest of already frustrated Nigerians.
“The people of Anambra entrusted you with a mandate to govern the state, and that responsibility deserves your full attention. The issues confronting our people require leadership, solutions and development, not prolonged political confrontation.
“Mr. Peter Obi is pursuing his own political ambition, and whatever differences may exist should not overshadow the broader interests of the people,” the Nollywood Legend noted.
He also appealed to Mr. Peter Obi to continue to demonstrate maturity, remain focused on his political journey and avoid being distracted by criticisms or political disagreements.
